About the hotel
This informal, friendly, non-smoking, family-run hotel with sea views is a 2 minute walk from Newquay town centre and surfing beaches, and is close to golf courses and fishing lakes.
The hotel is the ideal base for exploring Newquay and Cornwall, with the Eden Project just 15 miles away. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute drive from Newquay Airport.
The hotel can arrange surfing lessons; they will pick you up, arrange for your wetsuit, and drop you back to the hotel. Fishing trips can also be arranged. Group and team parties are accepted (with prior notice only), except in August.
The Quies Hotel has a secure indoor storage area for surfboards, golf clubs and fishing rods etc. A PlayStation 2 with games is free to use, as is a selection of DVDs.

Cancellations
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All rooms are en suite, or have private bathrooms which have recently been refurbished. Some rooms with sea views are available, though this is subject to availability. You have your own key for access at all times.

The room has an interconnecting door leading from the double/twin en suite room into the children’s room with bunk beds and colour TV. The room has a sea view and a view of Newquay’s bays. Directions
By Car
- Entering Newquay on the A392, follow signs to Newquay. At Quintrell Downs, do not go over the level crossing.
- Go straight over the roundabout and continue past the King's Head pub.
- Go straight across the next roundabout. Continue to the mini roundabout at the bottom of the hill (Trevemper Bridge).
- Turn right and go past the Texaco petrol station.
- At the next large roundabout, bear left.
- Go up the hill and take the first right.
- Go past the fire station, and at the T junction, turn right into Mount Wise.
- We are almost 100 metres on your left, just past the traffic lights. You are allowed time to register and unload.
